The ultimate goal of Cake On Rack is to provide excellent cakes to our customers with the best possible means what so ever those are. We understand that in any nature of business or service, there might be some chances of faults, caused by unavoidable circumstances, where we may not have looked into or simply out of control. Again, keeping in mind that we must focus on the positive angle of everything because that’s how 99% businesses run and succeed, we have developed certain terms and conditions; applied to all of our customers and website visitors, whether they have signed up a written letter of consent or not. The detailed explanation is given below:

 

  1. All the designs or decorations of cakes, displayed on our website, are indicative. While we make sure that you get the cake design as same as possible, there might be a chance of design change. You must understand that the icing or design of the cake is largely dependent on the chef’s own imagination. Orders can’t be canceled or returned to us based on cake designs.
  2. Customers can establish direct communication with our help desk via email or call before ordering or immediately after placing the order. This will help us to understand your cake design concepts and that will add additional value to our responsive customer support system.
  3. If the receiver or representative of the receiver is not present, door locked, outside entry banned, address not found, contact number is not reachable or switched off, the receiver refuses to accept the order, in such cases, orders will be acknowledged as delivered and no refunds can be claimed.
  4. In the current scenario of COVID-19 pandemic, we always give our best to accomplish the product delivery without any discomfort but we need to understand the rare conditions we are facing. We will provide the credit in case we don’t deliver it to your address.
  5. Cake On Rack has full authority to change the terms and conditions and have the right to refuse the order unconditionally.
  6. The cakes delivered to you are required to be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours.

Delivery Policy/ Shipping policy

  1. If you order a cake between 8 AM – 6 PM, it will be considered as the same day order to be delivered.
  2. Orders executed after 6 PM will be queued for next day order and hence delivery will be done that day.
  3. Express cakes can be delivered within 0 – 3 hours.
  4. Cakes except Express Cakes may take 2 – 6 hours, depending on the design or flavors you have selected.
  5. We offer Pincode based delivery. Please make sure you enter the correct pin code when ordering the cake. You can call our help desk in case your Pincode is not available so that we can set up an alternate method of delivery.
  6. We don’t charge any delivery charges for the areas we cover. However, you may be asked for extra delivery charges if we don’t have an easy delivery service to cater to your request.
  7. If you receive a damaged product, please don’t sign the receipt and call our helpline immediately so that we can take corrective actions.

Return and Refund Policy

Order Cancellation Policy At You & Me, we prepare your orders fresh, right after you place them. Due to this, we can’t accept cancellations. However, we understand that mistakes can happen. If you let us know within 15 minutes of placing your order, we’ll do our best to cancel it, though it’s not guaranteed. If we do cancel your order, you’ll get your refund within 14 days, minus a 15% cancellation fee, through the original payment method.

Refund Policy for Failed Transactions If your payment gets deducted but the order doesn’t go through, don’t worry! We’ll refund you as soon as possible, which might take 10-12 days. Feel free to place your order again.

Returns & Exchanges If you miss your delivery or provide incorrect contact information, we can’t offer a refund.

Before accepting your cake delivery, check it out. If you’re not happy with how it looks, you don’t have to take it. We’ll give you a full refund through the original payment method. After you accept the cake, we’re not responsible for any damage to it, and we can’t offer refunds.

If the cake doesn’t taste as good as you expected, please email us at cakeonrack1@gmail.com with your feedback. Depending on your case, we might refund you or send another cake. However, we reserve the right to decide based on what was advertised and the cake’s quality.

Since cakes are perishable, we can’t do exchanges.

Out of Stock If we can’t make your cake because we’re missing ingredients or for another reason, we’ll let you know and suggest alternatives. If you’re not interested, we’ll refund the full amount to your original payment method.
